Autumn Sunrise at Mount Sneffels

The mornings in Colorado during the fall season took me by surprise. I am a person who wears shorts all year round in Kansas. I learned from the previous morning and wore my tights under my shorts, multiple shirt layers, good wool socks and good gloves. Mount Sneffels was beautiful, but most sunrises are a hurry up and wait thing. We hurry to get to a spot, stand there for hours to keep it and wait for another hour for the sun to hit the mountain top and the trees.
